This beautiful Timber Frame lies on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The douglas fir timbers were all planned, sanded , and stained. This way the beautiful grain of the for really shines and adds that unique character. The stain is from Sansin, the inside being purity clear and the outside sdf. The designer incorporated German style bracing which adds a nice touch of crafstmanship to the frame. The splines are from local garry oak trees, and the pegs are red oak. The owner , being a hobby woodworker, added many great custom touches throughout and the results speak for themselves.
