Woodworking Shop

Sea Kelp B&B , Jordan River BC

This Dutch gable timber frame was designed and built by Sherpa.  The logs were felled in the Pacific Northwest and processed on the clients own sawmill.  The Sikta spruce timbers are light and strong,  and we applied a slightly yellow/orange stain to really make it pop.  This structure could have been a open air carport, but we ended up turning it into a woodworking shop.  The 24′ clear span trusses allow for a un-interupted floor layout.  The pegs are red oak and the splines were local Garry Oak.
